Ha Long Bay a spectacular island sea located in Northeastern Vietnam. Far 160 km from Ha Noi Capital to the east is part of the island marine resource system of Quang Ninh province; has a total area 1.553km2, including 1,969 islands of various kinds.

Halong Bay is a unique tourism resources with international stature value: in 1994, Halong Bay is on the UNESCO list of World Natural Heritage because of the value of outstanding global aesthetics. In 2000, 2nd Halong Bay was recognized as UNESCO World Natural Heritage because of the typical geological values. Halong Bay is rated by a club of the most beautiful bays in the world and officially recognized as one of the 29 most beautiful bays. Halong Bay continues to be voted by New 7 Wonders Organization as one of the new seven natural wonders of the world.

On the international level: At the beginning of last century, famous Halong Bay has been promoted in publications introducing tourism in France. The process of Quang Ninh tourism activity has brought the Halong Bay brand to dozens of airlines and international travel. Per year Halong Bay received the attention of tourists from 50 countries and territories. The imprint of the cultural events - major politics was held in Ha Long has made the reputation of Ha Long Bay. A lot of organizations and individuals interested in the world (The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization - UNESCO, the International Union for Conservation of Nature - IUCN, United Nations Development Programme - UNDP, most beautiful Bays Club of the of the World)...

Per year, Ha Long Bay attracted more than 3.1 million tourists, of which 1 million international passengers. So Ha Long - Quang Ninh become one of the best marine tourism center in Vietnam.
